Burns Supper, 2018
Burns Supper is a celebrated tradition in Scotland, celebrating the birth of Robert Burns, the Bard of Ayrshire, and regarded as the National Poet of Scotland. You may recognize some of his work when you sing "Auld Lang Syne" at New Years, hear the song "Scots Wha Hae", or hear the poem "To A Mouse".
The images below are just some snippets from one of our member's Burns Supper at home, with friends who joined to celebrate with good Scotch, Haggis meatballs led in by bagpipes, Scottish Ale and of course, poetry read aloud.
Happy Burns Night!
